anyone interested in this?

seems like its kind of a hardware ‘note’… all in one-groove box.
I guess the USP is integration with Ableton Live.

also usb audio class compliant,
so can be used as audio interface - guess good for a small setup.

for me, feels like a missed opportunity, as I’d like a small push-like controller.
but that display is way to too small for that.

also disappointing is, no audio tracks, so capturing audio is it seems limited to creating short (?) samples.

however, in fairness, clear they went for a certain price point.

Im sure it’ll do well… a sketchpad that can easily transfer into Live.
but not for me…

Yep… same here.

For beginners always on the Move…
(Nothing wrong, have to start somewhere; nice 32 pads with polyphonic aftertouch and away from cables, interfaces, routings)

yeah, I was initially like “do we really need yet another small groove box?”
(there are so many…)

however, on reflection, it seems its a large market segment, makes sense Ableton wants a slice of the pie esp. as it can be a feeder into Live/Push ecosystem.

I guess, Note was a bit of a test of the market, and ofc, both are Arm, so I suspect share a bit of the same code base.

I think if I was still commuting a couple of days a week, then I’d be quite tempted, especially since I don’t own a Push. But given I mainly make music sitting in my study, where I have a variety of other instruments and controllers, it’s less compelling.

Great quick idea sketching tool.

Great compact controller (and USB audio card) for Ableton.

Stereo sample length of a few minutes per pad (allegedly) and resampling to move beyond 4 track limit.

Pitch mode per pad, similar to Oxi One multi track mode?

Really looking forward to see what it can do with MIDI out track and whether it can route external audio-in to the track audio channel (with effects) or at least the master for integrating with external synth.

CDM has one of the nicer write-ups.

I do appreciate that it supports poly aftertouch, at least.

And I’m curious about the controller mode, in terms of Live integration. (we can’t use two Push devices concurrently, but maybe this covers a bit of that need?)
