It’s an art to play to concert level, but it’s not that hard to play to a fun level if you have reasonable coordination and a sense of pitch. I think you’d soon pick it up, but if in doubt, wait for the Behremin. 
(For deeper wallets, the Theresyn could be fun if you want something new.)
