Hello, I’m trying to play midi instruments with Eigenharp pico and managed to add the virtual midi port through workbench by loading the pico factory setting. However I got stuck in midi rig settings when I tried to add breath input and strip input. The recorder seems to get breath input from gateway and the breath output is connected to the midi convertor but it is not altering the output. Adding a shape function to take breath input from recorder to include as pressure input in the midi convertor is not working. I’m not a programmer so please could I request support with how to go about incorporating it? Also when the browser was around it had keyboard layout options to change the keys order to ascending or descending or standard. Is this still changeable with workbench? Thanks. Wish the workbench tutorials were still available in the Eigenlabs website or in archives here.
I managed to get the breath input working with Eigenmatrix however still haven’t figured out the keyboard layout. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
a) breath … you should not need to change the setup within workbench. Im pretty sure its already connected to the midi converter (via the gateway)
it should just be a matter of assigning breath to a CC etc in the midi converter matrix, sending it on channel one.
b) keyboard layout.
yes, you can do this in workbench, you just need to alter the keygroup, in particular you want to change the musical layout (not the physical).
might help:
