Anyone else getting clicks using Erae II (in Bitwig)?

I haven’t been using DAW synths very much lately, but in the last day I’ve tried Absynth 6 and Zebra 3 and am getting click in both. MPE mode or not. 44Khz, auto sample rate set to 512 using Audient ID14 MKII interface. And just noticed I’m getting them in older synths like Plasmonic. I’m guessing it’s not the Erae, but if anyone has any clues as to what to check, I’d appreciate any suggestions.

The Erae is only sending MIDI events, not audio. Is the “click” an unexpected sequence of MIDI messages (like a spike in a certain CC, pitch bend or velocity, very high data rate that is causing “hickups” etc.) or purely on the audio output? In the latter case I cannot imagine that the Erae is causing this (unless some electricity spikes on the usb port that affect the entire computer? But that sounds unlikely).
Does the problem disappear when you record the midi sequence and then play it back? (With or without leaving the Erae plugged in?)
If no: Bitwig is decimating MIDI data, so repeat the experiment with e.g. receivemidi/sendmidi which record and send the full midi stream as it comes from the Erae.

It doesn’t look like MIDI messages. It sounds more like an interruption in the audio. Yes, just sending MIDI via USB.

OO, good question. Yes it is also in the recording. And yes, even when I turn off the Erae.

And I just imported a MIDI file from my hard drive and it’s doing it, so I guess that rules out the Erae.

I just tried it in Ableton Live and it’s not happening there. So I guess it’s something in Bitwig. Live audio setting match what I have in Bitwig.

Thanks for your suggestions. Guess I need to focus in on Bitwig…
