Downloading - Joué Play Editor, website down (solved)

Hi Joué play users,
I can’t find a download link for the Joué Play editor (for Mac). I have to install it on my new MacBook but have only the installer for Windows. It’s a shame that they went out of business and even don’t provide a download link. It’s even not available in the Mac Appstore anymore. If there are users who read this and can send me the editor, I would be very happy. Thanks.

Solution you can use wayback machine, for all versions

this will take you to a calendar for the page, find the date with the last change (blue dot, MARCH 30, 2023) , click on it.

I have the editor for Mac. I will need to look at my backups to see if I still have the installer.

I found this site where it can be downloaded

it seems to work after allowing the app to be opened in privacy and security in system settings.
I hope it works - it seems to work for me :slight_smile:

mod note:
Ive edited so that the user can see and copy the link, so they know where its downloading from.
personally, Id say its safer to download from web.archive.org as you know this is an archive of the original files. link is not in top post for all versions.

Thanks for posting this, i was able to install it but when I plug in the Joue, it ask to update but then i get this message.

Unable to update the device “Joue Bootloader” with this editor

Did you are anyone else come across this?

So I was able to get it to update and be recognized but I might be out of luck with out a license for customizing it. That’s unfortunate that they no longer sell the Pro Option. Any one in this situation also?

Can someone please tell me if the Mac informer link for Joue editor was malware free please?
I downloaded it as I wanted to use my Joue on my Mac mini and I’ve had a couple of odd things happen since eg my monitors switching from main and extended and it’s really spooked me.
Thank you to anyone who can help.

Just pasted the link to the binary into virustotal, this doesn’t find anything. Still no guarantee of course, not sure how many of the used scanners are specialized for Mac malware. (E.g. whether they even look into DMG files…)

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this and for replying. I bit the bullet and bought total AV as I couldn’t relax at all and was dreading a full clean installation of all the software again.
Nothing at all flagged up on the initial and deep scan, so between your reply and the scan I can now look forward to sleeping tonight :woozy_face::joy:
