Ive taken the liberty, of adding the playlists to it, so that if someone sees this topics, they can find without scrolling thru the posts - hope thats ok (you can edit them out if you prefer not)
Great videos, awesome production quality and easy to understand, the best for a complete newcomer to eaganmatrix like me! Today one thing happened tho where I wanted to send the video to someone and I was unable to find it on youtube no matter what I searched. I don’t know if its just part of youtube’s enshitification but searching around terms like eaganmatrix, osmose, programming, sound design, french tutorial, introduction…
I had to come back here to find them and I believe it has to do with the algorithm, maybe tagging helps?
Not sure, I’m not much into social networks at all, but I feel this might be a part of not having more views and exposure to the community (a musician with an osmose might or might not be part of this forums)
In any case I’ve got it now in favorites and I’m subscribed to your channel, THANK YOU! Looking forward to more advanced things!
Thank you so much!
I’m currently working on the next ones. I can’t really say when they will be ready but soon I hope.
Regarding the search engine of Youtube, my videos are indeed deep down in the results when I type “eaganmatrix tutorials” without being logged in. But that’s no surprise in my opinion. Despite the fact that few people are interested in this software, there’s quite a lot of videos around it and around Continuum and Osmose (Richard Kram channel, Cuckoo, etc.) and they all have way more views than mine. I guess this is the reason why youtube doesn’t show them in the first results for now.
But I’ll change that!
Thanks for your interest and welcome on this forum
I’m glad to share a new EaganMatrix tutorial video with you.
This time, we will craft a kick for Continuum, Osmose or any midi controller connected to the EM. It will be an opportunity to discover SHAPE GENERATORS and PERSISTENCE parameter.
You can find it here :
Hi all,
the 2nd part of my tutorial video about how to craft a kick in the EaganMatrix is online! I explain how to add velocity on a percussive sound, basic setup of macro-controllers and how to split your instrument’s interface directly into a patch. I’m also talking about OVERLAYS and LORIS Synth.
You can download the corresponding patch on Patchstorage
And on this occasion, I also created a Ko-Fi account so you can now “buy me a coffee” if you feel like supporting my work.
I’ll be now working on my first Overlay Batterie and some preset banks for Continuum and Osmose. They will be available on Ko-Fi as well as soon as possible.
Avec plaisir!
My main instrument is the Continuum. It’s latest official firmware (10.44) allows overlays creation. I think it’s not already possible with the Osmose.
But when the 90 macro-controllers will be available on Osmose, there’s no reason my overlay doesn’t work with it. Anyway, I’ll craft it for both instruments and do the best I can to release by the end of March for ContinuuCon
