Mystrix Grid Controllers (MPE version coming soon)

Hi! I’m an indie maker building Mystrix — a smart grid controller that runs powerful, customizable apps for music and creative usages.

As of today, Mystrix brings:

  • Note App V2 – chords, dual arpeggiator, custom scales, MIDI sync.
  • Strum App – play expressive chords with touchbars.
  • Custom Control Panels – advanced MIDI, keyboard, controller mapping.
  • Drum Pad App – Just a drum pad mapping with visual performance capability.
  • Computer Integration – connects with software tools on your computer
  • Open SDK (C++ & Python) – build and share your own apps.

And we have a lot of other cool stuff in the works, like step sequencers.

We’ve spent years making Mystrix open, community-driven, and dependable*

  • 100% open-sourced with amazing docs at our Project Wiki
  • Continuous updates even for 6-year-old products.
  • Shipped our Kickstarter on time and delivered every promise
  • Our passionate community is shaping every new feature, new product, and new direction.

If you like what we’re doing and how we’re doing it, please consider joining our Discord or picking up a Mystrix — your support keeps indie hardware alive.

We are also working on an MPE version that hopefully ship mid next year.

As we are closing in on production details, I would love your feedback on those!

Not sure how I missed this when you posted it, but I’m very excited, and hope I’ll be able to afford one or two v2 units when that launches.

Is there an integration with Bitwig’s clip launcher?

If not, I wonder what would it take, whether Driven By Moss’ Generic Flexi would be enough or something more complex i.e. forking the Launchpad integration would be needed.

I have a Launchpad X but I would sell it and get / help crowdfund this Mystrix because of its indie and open source development. I wouldn’t be expecting a full integration with Bitwig, but I wouldn’t want to get stuck with a controller that can only work with Bitwig if I make it work because it’s open source and anyone can do it. :smirk:
