Software synths supporting MPE (wiki)

Made a few tweaks to the status of a few of the entries.
And added Serum 2. Added a few more 4pockets ones, but only if they also work on silicon mac, since this list isnt really tuned for ios-only synths at the moment, although there probably are a few of those on the list already.

Hopefully there will be some more Arturia ones to add once V Collection 11 comes out on Thursday.

Added Arturia Jup-8000 V and Pure LoFi.

There will probably be a few more Arturia tweaks for me to make to the list when I confirm some other V Collection 11 changes later.

In addition to new/updated instruments with MPE, Arturia also fixed MPE bugs in their other synths that already had MPE:

  • MPE Pitch Slide now properly works after repeated slides.

  • MPE slide CC changes now apply immediately after re-enabling MPE.

And their Augmented series of instruments have a new UI and:

  • MPE: New MPE curve control for more expressive playing.

Added Arturia SEM V3, which got MPE as part of a major update for V Collection 11.

Added Arturia Augmented Mallets, as I previously missed it off the list. Seem to recall it was initially released as a simplified ‘Play’ version and I’ve lost track of whether it only got updated to full now as part of 11 or sometime previously.

Dawesome Kontrast seems very promising, came out earlier. I’ll fiddle with the wiki another day when Im not so tired.

Had no time to fiddle with the wiki recently.

I see one of the big daddies is gaining MPE, Omnisphere 3 got announced that includes MPE support.

GForce MAP is their first synth that they describe as having proper MPE support (a bunch of their other synths do actually support a couple of MPE dimensions but they never really did MPE Y (CC74) properly before, even in OB-E where it sort of works its very clunky and abnormal to setup via traditional MIDI mapping.)

I will fiddle with the wiki.

I added Dawesome Kontrast and Synapse Dune 3 while I was in there adding GForce MAP. I expect maybe a few others arrived this year that I forgot to add at the time.

Remembered that 4Pockets Oscidia was one of the arrivals of recent months so added it.

The publicly stated intention for Zebra 3 is to have MPE included in the proper final release of the initial version, which they are hoping to release by the end of Jan 2026 or at least sometime in Q1 2026. But since the initial public beta that came out yesterday does not feature MPE, I shall not add it to the main list yet.

I am playing Zebra 3 beta with MPE. At least the CLAP version does it nicely in Bitwig…
