Hello, I received my striso a few days ago and it was working fine, now it is barely audible through headphones and quiet through an amplifier, with a loud buzzing sound. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks for your message and welcome to the forum. I’m sorry to hear that you have a sound issue.
Some reasons that I can think of:
- A buzzing sound can come from from a ground loop, this happens when the USB is somehow connected to the same device as the audio. To make sure this is not the issue use a separate USB adapter or power bank.
- The obvious audio jack not inserted deep enough, or using a cable with a broken wire. Please try different cables to be sure this is not the issue.
And of course there might be a hardware issue, did you try if MIDI works or if you can access the configuration editor on a computer? If it’s indeed a hardware issue you can send it back and you’ll get a replacement.
