Understanding Erae II's cv ranges?

I am trying to use the Erae II to modulate parameters in my rack. It appears from the manual for the MultiMod that the full range of the parameters is ±10VDC but I can only set the range in EraeLab from -5 to +8. I feel like I’m missing something.

Any help appreciated.

the manual states :

note: this is when using power adapter.

I saw that, but my module states ±10V to access the full range. So my question is why I’m not able to adjust the cv range on the Erae to accommodate this?

Yay, an answer from Embodme!

" The Erae 2 output range is -5/+8 VDC

Most devices operate on ±5 VDC, while the MultiMod reaches up to ±10 VDC on “the spread CV in,” which the Erae cannot fully manage.
You cannot reprogram MultiMod ranges, instead use external scaling tools like attenuators, offsets, VCAs, etc., to tailor your CV input/output to the module’s fixed range.
