Vlad’s ideas seem to be quite closely aligned to those of expressive controllers/instrument - very similar statement to Roger Linns that too many electronic instrument are based on simple triggers, and that the musician needs to be more connected.

The interview he gave to the Esoteric Modulation podcast was also a fascinating insight into his design philosophy. Even something like the Pulsar drum machine is something much more organic than most other drum machines.
thanks for that… I wanted to hear more from him, the SonicState interview really whetted my appetite.
after hearing him speak about the UX side, it makes more sense of the Lyra and Pulsar, and in particular how its sits with the other things he has made.
